Residential Plumbing Services
Complete drain cleaning including kitchen, basement and main line cleaning using the newest equipment available. Common drain issues include washer overflow, basement drain back up and kitchen sink clogs.
Issues causing clogging include hair in the shower drain, grease being poured down the kitchen sink and toothpaste down the bathroom sink. Also, washing machine drains can get clogged from soap residue build up.
Garbage Disposal Replacement
We can replace your garbage disposal quickly and efficiently. They usually last 5+ years. You can purchase a new disposal at the local hardware store - or we can supply you with one. Installation is usually under 2 hours labor, including full testing.
This is also a good time to have the drain cleaned while the plumbing is opened up.
Water Heater Repairs & Replacement
Most water heaters have an expected life span of ten years. While many do last longer, we see problems starting to occur after 10 years. This is usually a water leak or noticably less hot water.
When we install a new hot water heater we sometimes recommend an expansion tank also be installed. This will greatly extend the life of the system. The life of a water heater is 10 + years. Tankless water heaters can cost more due to the increased installation time and materials. We can review your current set up and make a recommendation.
Bath & Kitchen
We can do all of the plumbing for your bathroom and kitchen remodel! From replacing faucets and sinks to fixing the pipes, we have the experience to make it tight, look good and to keep the costs down.
We usually recommend updating all the waterlines to prevent future problems and keep the room clean and dry.
We recommend replacing the Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) approximately every 7 years. High water pressure is the start of many plumbing problems including leaks and short appliance life. Recommended pressure is below 75 psi. All PRV valves slowly weaken over time and can cause waterlines in your appliances and toilets to start leaking and eventually burst. Your local water company will usually conduct a water pressure test for free.
A new PRV valve is a simple installation, taking approximately 2 hours to install.
